Pushing Observability Pipelines to the Limit

We are inviting all global DevOps to converge online and in person for a week of education, creativity, and collaboration with the community.

Monday, March 25, 2024 - Tuesday, April 2, 2024 (Virtual)
Wednesday, April 3, 2024 (Optional In-Person)

.

Welcome to the Pushing Observability Pipelines to the Limit Hackathon!

Get ready to dive into an experience of innovation and collaboration, featuring both virtual and in-person participation in partnership with AWS and the Women in DevOps community!

Expect a lineup of educational sessions, hands-on workshops, and networking opportunities. Plus, as a bonus, there will be awards and prizes recognizing outstanding contributions.

Schedule

While this hackathon is open for a week, the actual commitment to participate is 30-60 minutes.

Over the course of a week, we’ll give you the tools to explore all the possibilities of using pipelines, coupled with some examples to get your creativity if you haven’t used one before. Then we’ll end the week with an in-person event where the finalists will discuss their approach and judges will declare a winner! Prizes will be awarded!

There is one twist to this hackathon, however. Observability pipelines are often fairly simple in their design: grab telemetry, process data, and send downstream. Instead, the winners of this hackathon will be the ones who build the most overly complicated and convoluted pipelines.
