Leverage out-of-the-box dashboards to jump-start your path to complete observability.
Automate monitoring toil. Edge Delta uses AI/ML to monitor your resources, so you never have to build or refine alerts.
Easily adopt Edge Delta across your organization. There’s no complex query language or need to rely on institutional knowledge.
Reduce logging costs by 60%+ when compared to Amazon CloudWatch logs.
Right-size your data footprint by pre-processing your logs as they’re created at the source.
Optimize time-series metrics ingestion by 90%+ when compared to other monitoring providers.
With Edge Delta, observability works out of the box. Get set up in a flash, end ongoing toil, and gain pre-built views that make monitoring easy.
Edge Delta is different from Amazon CloudWatch in three main ways:
Architecture: Edge Delta’s distributed architecture pushes compute closer to the data source. By processing your telemetry upstream, Edge Delta enables cost optimization and allows you to pre-sort the “needles” from your “haystack.”
Cost: Edge Delta is more cost effective than Amazon CloudWatch – you can ingest logs and metrics for $0.20 per GB.
Usability: Customers, such as Qualiti, have shifted to Edge Delta to eliminate monitoring toil and provide a better user experience.
Yes, you can ingest data from AWS Lambda in two ways:
Our AWS Lambda extension. This is deployed as a layer within your Lambda Function. It batches logs at the end of the function execution and delivers them to Edge Delta-hosted agents. From there, the data is forwarded to our backend for analysis.
Our AWS Lambda Forwarder. This solution runs as a dedicated Lambda function in your environment, continuously sending batches of log data. It collects logs from both Lambda Functions and Cloudwatch log groups.
Edge Delta provides several pre-built integrations with AWS, including:
Amazon EC2 and EKS (Inbound) to collect and pre-process telemetry.
Amazon S3 (Outbound) to store telemetry long-term.
AWS Lambda (Inbound/Outbound) to collect telemetry data or to trigger a function.
