Our Founding

Edge Delta was founded in 2018 by Ozan Unlu and Fatih Yildiz. Both founders faced the limitations of traditional monitoring tools while working in different roles. By combining their experience with recent advances in technology, they created a new approach to help DevOps, IT/Ops, SRE, and Security teams solve real operational problems.

Ozan previously worked as a Development Lead at Microsoft on the Azure and Security teams and as a Senior Solutions Architect at Sumo Logic. He helped hundreds of organizations, from startups to large enterprises, improve their system architecture and observability. Fatih is an experienced software engineer who worked at Microsoft and Twitter, where he built and managed large-scale distributed systems handling petabytes of data.

Through their experience, they realized that constantly centralizing, indexing, and storing all raw telemetry data is not efficient for real-time and operational needs. Reconnecting through their shared background at Microsoft, they founded Edge Delta with a focus on improving how logs, metrics, traces, and events are processed. Today, they work closely with engineering teams across the industry to solve these challenges more effectively.

Our Experience

The founding team at Edge Delta brings deep experience with large-scale distributed systems and enterprise observability, applied to building Telemetry Pipelines and AI Teammates that handle the scale problems they once faced firsthand.

With engineers from Twitter, Google, Microsoft, and Sumo Logic, the team has taken lessons learned from engineering cloud-scale technologies and applied them to a new, cloud-scale problem: how organizations control and manage exponential volumes of telemetry data.

Our team understands the technical challenges involved with running and maintaining an observability and security stack at scale, and we place utmost importance on customer satisfaction, uptime, reliability, and data security.
