WHAT YOU'LL DO:


We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer (Front-End) to join our product engineering organization. This is a great opportunity for an entrepreneurial engineer to continue to build on a modern React application.We are forever changing the landscape of the Observability & Monitoring space -- and are only getting started! 


  • Build, test, and deploy new features to our internal and customer-facing React applications.
  • Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and product teams to deliver a high quality experience for our users.
  • Provide technical leadership to more junior engineers on your team.
  • Keep up to date with best practices and the latest industry trends.

WHO YOU ARE:


We are looking for a well-rounded Senior Software Engineer (Front-End) who is well versed in the latest technologies and industry trends, a self-starter who can contribute to projects end-to-end, and someone who is excited about the opportunity to collaborate with other engineers, designers, and our product team. The ideal candidate, brings the following to the table:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent training.
  • 5+ years of professional experience building complex web applications.
  • Strong background in Single Page Applications, specifically React.
  • Strong understanding of Javascript and Typescript.
  • Strong knowledge of the fundamentals of CSS (we don’t use any CSS frameworks) and responsive design best practices.
  • Strong UI/UX skills and understanding of usability concepts.
  • Proficient in converting designs in Figma to functional React code
  • Strong knowledge of NPM and dependency management.
  • Experience with cross-browser debugging, writing unit tests, and e2e tests using Playwright.
  • Experience testing, building, and deploying apps through a CI/CD pipeline (we use CircleCI and Github actions).
  • Experience with building accessible applications.
  • Willingness to be proactive and take initiative to drive feature development.
